His performance against Sweden further proved that we are going to be saying his name for the foreseeable future, so please, please, can we get the lad's name right?
Jeff Hendrick has been called Jeff Hendricks (or Hendrix for fans of Jimi) for far too long at this stage. The biggest culprit is without doubt Eamon Dunphy, as he uses his RTÉ platform to inadvertantly push his addtional 's' propaganda to thousands. Despite the text on screen clearly stopping with the letter 'k', he continues to use the term that would suggest the pural, a group of Hendricks.
And you can't avoid it if you watch a match in the pub. "That Hendricks fella" is usually the term here, and there's no point in trying to correct them as they seem firmly set in their ways. I once heard Denis Irwin pronounced 'Denis Irvine' by a patron of a pub in Bray and I was absolutely baffled by it, these names are not hard to get right, but it seems as though they cannot hear the correct pronunciation once they make their mind up.
Even Sky Sports are making Jeff Henrick related mistakes, the poor guy.
Getting a few tweets. Think @SkyFootball have got it a little bit wrong with the flag. ?? pic.twitter.com/3N2bXjzC2V

If we were analysing the Poland squad, then fair enough there is bound to be butchering, but you don't hear anybody saying Glenn Whelans, or Shay Givens, or even David McGoldricks.
End the madness. Here it is in writing, so I urge you to pass it on to someone who is a repeat offender for the above crime. Do it for Jeff.
