Chile face Argentina in the Copa America final this weekend in Santiago. Chile have remarkably never won the Copa and to try end that run they are assuring everybody they have left no stone unturned.

La Nacion report that some of Chile's players have been using FIFA 15 and a Playstation 4 in order to discover the best way of stopping Messi. Alexis Sanchez is among the players who has used the game to try and predict Messi's mazy runs and try to discover a tactical system that can best nulify him. Sanchez was of course a former teammate of Messi's at Barcelona, which means Sanchez's use of the game is either a huge compliment to the power of the game or a slight upon Sanchez's day-to-day awareness at training.

Sportspeople using technology to get ahead in the real world is not a new phenomenon. David Moyes licensed Football Manager as part of his scouting team at Everton, whilst Andre Villas-Boas allegedly used to begin a season in the game and immediately quit. He would, however continue to follow the subsequent seasons in the game to see which players developed best and thus were worthy targeting in the real-life transfer market.
