With just one win from their first nine games in the Premier League, Leicester are in deep trouble, and manager Brendan Rodgers continues to lose favour with the club's fans.
Rodgers took over as Leicester manager in February 2019. The first few years of his reign in charge were successful, as he brought the club close to Champions League football, and claimed a memorable first ever FA Cup win for Leicester in 2021.
Things have gotten much tougher for the ex-Liverpool and Celtic boss in recent times, however. The club have just four points from their first nine games this season, and sit rooted to the bottom of the Premier League.
With fan discontent rising, Leicester have been forced to block one fan's innovative attempt to call for Brendan Rodgers' sacking at this weekend's game.
Leicester City: Fan's attempt at Rodgers message blocked
Leicester fans have grown tired of their recent struggles under Brendan Rodgers, and one fan made an ambitious move to send a message to the club at this weekend's game against Crystal Palace.
The King Power Stadium will fill with birthday messages approximately 30 minutes before each game, and one fan had the innovative idea of requesting that his "grandmother" be wished a happy birthday by the stadium's PA. The name? "Brenda Nout".
If anyones bothering going to the game Saturday can they please keep an eye out on the scoreboards for birthday announcements- approx 30 mins before KO. I’ve just paid for a birthday wish for my grandma Brenda Nout and would love a photo of it. TIA pic.twitter.com/PH6RgyWrBe

The attempt was initially accepted by Leicester, before someone at the club evidently realised the hidden meaning of the "Brendan Out" message.
Naturally, they removed the message and refunded the fan.

When fans are willing to spend so much to send a message at the club's home stadium, you know things are bad.
Brendan Rodgers is under serious fire and will hope for a result against Crystal Palace this weekend. The way Leicester are playing, however, and with the attacking firepower at Palace's disposal, you wouldn't be optimistic for the Foxes.
It seems as though Rodgers is living on borrowed time at Leicester.
