Legia Warsaw Charged Over Anti-UEFA Display

Legia Warsaw have been charged by UEFA because of a banner criticising European football's governing body which was unveiled before their second leg Europa League qualifier game last week.

The Polish side who were controversially eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers due to an administration error produced the above display against Kazakhstani side Aktobe last Thursday.

A UEFA disciplinary panel will meet on Thursday to judge on the matter with sanctions possibly being imposed as early as their first Europa League group stage game on September 18th.
