Thing's aren't too great for Leeds United fans at the moment. The club has a complete madman for an owner and the team is not performing well in the Championship, so the last thing a Leeds fan needs now is to have the piss taken out of them...by their own club's twitter account.
But that is exactly what happened on transfer deadline day as whoever is in charge of the official Leeds United twitter account woke up feeling particularly evil. Here are the events as they unfolded:
Having announced the signing of Brian Montenegro (we hadn't heard of him either) and Souleymane Doukara (who was already on loan at the club), most Leeds fans were willing to resign themselves to an underwhelming deadline day and go to bed, that is, until they were clearly instructed not to:
