News has broken today of Leeds United's intentions to sign Football Manager 2009 legend Robert Aquafresca. Looking to put the Ross McCormack money to good use, the higher-ups at Leeds clearly invested significant hours into FM09 and presumably he was as devastating there as he was for me, scoring 34 league goals en route to West Ham United's first ever top-4 finish. Whether or not he can re-create that form for United remains to be seen.

I mean, just look at those stats, how could Leeds resist?
This news comes just days after Freddy Adu secured a move to a crap Serbian team, so it seems that former Football Manager wonderkids are 'in' this season.
