Easily the most popular line of football boots ever released, even though there were a few stinkers included, the Adidas Predator is something that seems to hold a special place in the heart of most football fans and players.
When they were discontinued in 2014 there was a big backlash against the decision, and with the re-release of classic Predator boots from the past proving to be ridiculously popular, the German sportswear giant clearly realised that it's time to bring them back.
Rumours had been floating around that Adidas had some designs in mind for a return next year, and a leak that has emerged via FootyHeadlines.com confirms that it will be back.
The colour is going to put a lot of people off, but the experts believe that the first release will be a black boot, not a blue one, however these photos reveal what the design is going to look like.
Again, a reminder that the first version released will be black (hopefully with red too like Predators should be), and not blue.
It's going to be interesting to see how they turn out, although we believe that if you take the Adidas Ace 17 (below) and add some distinctive Predator features like the strike-zone, you'll be on to a winner for the.
The Adidas Predator 18 is expected to launch between January and February of next year, and unlike the remakes we've seen over the past year they will not be limited edition, nor will they cost around €300.
The Predator is coming back.
