The Confederations Cup will take place next summer, and while we wait to see what African nation will join the likes of Germany, Mexico, Chile, and the hosts Russia, we've already been given a look at what one of the teams will be wearing.
Reigning World Cup champions Germany have decided to release a new jersey with a lovely nod to the German team that won the World Cup in 1990 by using the funky design on the much loved green jersey from that tournament and slapping it on the new home shirt.

The influence is clear on the leaked images of the new home jersey, which came to our attention through twitter user @Francooc07, and were also confirmed by Footy Headlines.
The Germany Confederations Cup jersey is going to be a very good seller.
But even better is the tracksuit that is also being released for the players to wear out onto the pitch, and we want it. Now.
That is glorious.
Just for the sake of it while we're here, let's have a look at the iconic Holland jersey that used the same template as the Germany above, widely considered the daddy of retro football jerseys.
This is a smart move by Adidas. Very smart.
It is not yet known when these wonderfully retro garments will go on sale, but hopefully we can get our hands on one to giveaway when they do, so keep an eye out for that.
