Early in 2022 the FAI promised that they would rebrand the league in time for the start of the 2023 season.
Individual clubs have also rebranded ahead of the new season.

The 2023 League of Ireland season will get underway in February with fixtures to be announced soon.
Last season was a memorable one as Shamrock Rovers claimed the title for the twentieth time.
The Hoops won the league with two games to spare, as they claimed a famous three in a row under manager Stephen Bradley.
Rovers will be looking to win a four consecutive title next year as well as building on their European success, where they reached the group stage of the Europa Conference League last season.
Kerry FC will be the new kids in the block in 2023 with the Tralee side entering the first division. The application for a licence that was put in back in June was granted last month. They will play their home games at Mounthawk Park.
