With the League of Ireland clubs gearing up for the resumption of the league on July 31, fans have been wondering how they'll be able to see the action in this environment of social distancing.
Well, the FAI has now launched a new streaming platform, WatchLOI!, which grants subscribers access to every single Premier Division game with their very own WatchLOI Season Ticket.
Revenue will go to each club from streaming sales.
In terms of those fans that are residents in Ireland, for the price of €55, the Season Pass (Ireland) package will "give you access to watch 55+ games from this season’s SSE Airtiricty League, as well as live Extra.ie FAI Cup action and exclusive access to classic Republic of Ireland games from the archive on WatchLOI TV."
For any League Of Ireland fan that's living abroad, the Season Pass (Rest of World) costs €69 and it "gives you access to watch all the games remaining in this season’s SSE Airtiricty League (65+ matches), as well as live Extra.ie FAI Cup action and exclusive access to classic Republic of Ireland games from the archive on WatchLOI TV."
Fixtures in the First Division are not included in this streaming service and
The initiative was jointly-devised by the Football Association of Ireland and RTE Sport, in collaboration with GAAGO, have partnered to deliver the streaming platform which will guarantee supporters can watch the #GreatestLeagueInTheWorld wherever they are on WatchLOI.ie.
The SSE Airtricity League is set to restart on Friday, 31 July with Derry City v Sligo Rovers the first match streamed on the platform, kick-off at 5.45pm.
In terms of the fixture list, the league resumes with two series of matches to be played and relegation and promotion to take place as normal.
Ger Canning, Adrian Eames, Stephen Alkin, Des Curran, Siobhan Madigan, Hugh Cahill, and John Kenny will provide commentary on games on WatchLOI.ie.
