There are few greater cult heroes in League of Ireland history than Joseph N'Do.
The mercurial Cameroonian arrived in the league in 2003, when he arrived at St Patrick's Athletic. His career hitherto had seen him play in Switzerland, China, Saudi Arabia, and France - but Ireland was to become his home.
N'Do's career at the highest level of Irish football lasted well over a decade, with the attacker winning league titles with Shelbourne in 2006 and Bohemians in 2009. He was player of the season in Shels' league-winning season - their most recent triumph until last year's under Damien Duff.
It is perhaps Sligo Rovers with whom N'Do is most fondly associated. In four years at the Showgrounds, N'Do established himself as an icon of the terraces, helping the team to three FAI Cups and another League of Ireland title in 2012.
Anyone who was watching the League of Ireland during those years will remember Joseph N'Do as a player completely unlike any other in the league.
The Cameroonian star was prone to unexpectedly cracking out ludicrously skilful or audacious plays, often baffling even his own teammates with the type of passes he would attempt.
A video edit compiling some of the most outlandish such moments has gone viral on Twitter this week, as the wider football world learns of the wonders of Joey N'Do.

Video celebrating League of Ireland hero Joseph Ndo goes viral
The video was initially shared by football fan account @dagrevived on Twitter. The simple caption of "?" sums up the perplexingly, compellingly skilful approach Joseph N'Do brought to the League of Ireland.
The opening clip alone, which sees N'Do find the post with an outrageous long-range outside-of-the-boot effort against Shamrock Rovers, would be enough to hook any football fan.
This author's personal favourite is the moment about 20 seconds in when N'Do executes a no-look backheel volley pass. How?!

The tweet has now been viewed by almost 6 million people, with the replies awash with fans in disbelief over some of the skills executed by N'Do.
For fans who watched N'Do's career in the League of Ireland, it is almost surreal to see the Sligo legend getting such widespread attention on football Twitter years after his retirement. Long overdue.
@Dagrevived's edit has also been shared by several huge football accounts on Twitter, with Mundial Mag's tweet amassing over 70,000 views.
League of Ireland fans these days will know Joseph N'Do almost as much for his commentary exploits as his legendary career in the league.
His passionate, expressive commentary has elevated many a broadcast in the years since his retirement. Barely a day goes by when his 'Welcome to heaven!' line is not used in some way in League of Ireland spheres.
Joseph N'Do. A true cult hero of Irish football.
