Transfer mania is back! With over 4 months passing since the close of the summer transfer window, fans have been starved of some sweet sweet transfer rumours.

Most of the talk in the intervening months has been about unimportant matters such as actual matches, but now we are back in the big time. I already look forward to looking up some half-baked YouTube compilation of a player I've never heard of that has been linked to my club, and so should you!

Here are some of the latest transfer rumours, just to whet your appetite ahead of the January window.

Christian Pulisic to Chelsea

Chelsea have tabled a £45million bid for American prodigy Christian Pulisic, with a deal set to be completed next summer. Renowned German football journalist Raphael Honigstein was speaking on the Sunday Supplement this morning, and he said the Chelsea are the only club that have yet to make a concrete offer for the player.

Dortmund will be hoping for further bids in the coming weeks and months, but the West London club are certainly in pole position for his signature.

Arsenal and Inter Milan in for Gary Cahill

Arsenal and Inter Milan have both expressed an interest in signing Gary Cahill next month, according to The Express. The player is out of contract at the end of the season, but Chelsea are willing to let him leave on a free next month.

He has seen only 20 minutes of Premier League playing time this season, and the 33-year old is not part of Maurizio Sarri's plans. Arsenal certainly need defnsive upgrades, but another aging defender may not be the solution.

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is of interest to Bayern Munich

Callum Hudson-Odoi is yet to make a first team breakthrough at Stamford Bridge, but that has not halted Bayern Munich's interest in the player. Sky Sports are reporting that the German champions have bid in excess of £20million for his services, which is understood to be close to Chelsea's £22.5million valuation.

Mats Hummels to Chelsea

If Bayern want to, perhaps some sort of swap deal could be worked out. Chelsea are apparently interested in taking Mats Hummels off their hands, with the World Cup winner having recently lost his place in the starting team.

The Sun are reporting that Bayern still want £30million for the defender, and it is unclear if Chelsea would be willing to fork out that much for a declining player.

Fernando Llorente to Galatasaray

The Sun are also reporting that Fernando Llorente has agreed personal terms on a potential move to Galatasaray. He has yet to start a league game for Spurs this season, playing just over 20 minutes in total.

Aaron Ramsey wants Juventus move

Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer at the end of the season, being of interest to a host of top European clubs. Juventus are one of those, and the Wales international is apparently keen on a move to Turin.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Juve are his preferred destination, and a deal could be agreed this month.

City have Ndombele bid rejected

Manchester City are keen to sign a holding midfielder in January, and have set their sights towards Ligue 1. They have had a £45million bid rejected for Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele according to The Times, having been impressed with the player during their two Champions League meetings.

Lyon are believed to be holding out for closer to £75million.

Juventus still want Pogba

Despite Jose Mourinho's departure from the club and his apparent return to form, Paul Pogba still wants out of Manchester this summer according to The Express. Juventus are still keen to bring him back to the club, while Barcelona are also considering a move for the player.
