There have been a few rather odd stories circulating about the unconvential Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan over the last few weeks. The Metro have another. According to the paper, Tan wants to sign players who have the number 8 in their birth date, because 8 is a respected number in Malaysia and Tan well, likes it.
Of course, there is no telling if this is true, it either points to yet more bizarre happenings at Cardiff or it points to the fact that anything printed about Tan - no matter how outlandish - will be believed.
Anyone born on the 08-08-1988 should get themselves to Cardiff just in case.
