Paul Lambert has confirmed he has read passages of the new Roy Keane autobiography 'The Second Half' and he has some words of caution for those who've rubbed Roy up the wrong way over the years.
The Aston Villa manager said:
I’ve seen bits of it. And it’ll be… aye… listen, take cover like. It will be good reading put it that way. Great night-time reading.
As if I couldn't be any more excited for its release on 9 October. Lambert and Keane seem to be getting on like a house on fire in Villa this season, and the Scotsman can take it as a compliment that he will probably escape much mention in Keane's new book. A point which isn't lost on Lambert, 'He’s got a full stop dedicated to me.'
Things then got a little soppy with Lambert describing the relationship the two have, 'We have a good laugh, it’s not all serious. He’s got great experience of football, a great guy to have beside me.'
I sense a buddy sports film in this.
