Brighton beat West Brom 3-1 in their FA Cup fourth round replay on Wednesday night.
West Brom actually took the lead in the 77th minute but the Premier League side equalised shortly after, taking the game to extra-time. Glenn Murray came off the bench to score twice and give Brighton the win.
The West Brom goal came in some strange circumstances. After Wes Hoolahan - who started the game and played 82 minutes - sent in a free kick from the right wing, Dan Burn headed the ball high into the Hawthorns air.
It looped towards the back post where both Brighton's Leon Balogun and West Brom's Kyle Bartley were standing. Initially, it appeared as if the Brighton defender had the upper hand in the situation.
That was until he decided to stop contesting for the ball with Bartley and instead allowed him to step to the side and volley the ball to the net.
Dan Burn was left wonder what the hell had just happened.
