Celtic's performance last night probably wasn't reflected in the 3-0 scoreline. Efe Ambrose's performance definitely was. Kris Commons took exception with Ambrose's poor display and had some pointed comments about whether Ambrose was match ready.
"Look, the manager picked him. The manager pulled him to one side and asked him if he was feeling okay. He said he was feeling brilliant.
If he wasn't feeling okay then he should have said so.
If he felt good then he should have put in a better performance."
Commons has a point given the sluggishness of Ambrose's display. Maybe he took some of his compatriots up on this offer.
