Borussia Monchengladbach were undoubtedly the better team at Celtic Park on Wednesday night. Still, their two goals were gifts, described as such by Brendan Rodgers. The man presenting them was Kolo Toure.
Toure had a solid first half but some dawdling on the ball in the 57th minute allowed the German side to score the opening goal. In an interview with ITV after the game, Toure admitted that the first mistake was still on his mind when a misplaced pass from him gave Monchengladbach a chance to grab a second.
I made a mistake with the first goal, should have cleared the ball with my left foot to the side. I like to keep the ball, I like to play football. That cost us the first goal. I was still thinking about the first one, the mistake, and the the second one happened.
I'm very disappointed for the club and the fans. Two mistakes and we lost the game.

Toure's honesty was not just on show with ITV. He also told BT Sport that he is a 35-year-old making the mistakes of a 16-year-old.
Overconfident, how you say, for the first goal. The second goal, the same thing. Maybe I was thinking about the other action because I don't like to make mistakes. But mistakes happen and you always learn.
Even though I'm 35 now I'm still making a 16-year-old's mistakes in the game.
