Kieran Tierney is a player who enjoys hero status amongst the Celtic fans because, amongst other things, he is one himself.
Those other things involve being the brightest academy talent to emerge in years, being a quality footballer at the age of 20, and conducting himself with absolute class in every situation he finds himself in, but the point is Celtic fans are head over heels in love with the young man who wears number 63.
Tierney is a fan of the UFC, so when the show rolled into Glasgow this weekend he was always going to be there, and with so many football fans in the arena he was never going to have a quiet night out but this, seemingly, was no bother to the young man at all.
A Celtic fan with the Twitter handle @topbhoy_67 was so impressed with Tierney's generosity in terms of making time for his fans that he published a gushing report of how he made the night of many fellow Celtic supporters in the building.

At UFC events the company takes great pride in celebrities being seen to enjoy the show, and they set up areas to ensure that they can do so in peace without feeling obligated to meet and greet the fans.
From Tierney's own Tweet at the event you can see he would have gone out of his way to take photos, proving once again that his feet are planted firmly on the ground and that he genuinely cares about mingling with the supporters.
Thanks to @UFCEurope for the hospitality! Different class #UFCGlasgow pic.twitter.com/NYwdvjm8QW

It's no surprise he's considered a certain future captain, a guy who knows exactly what the club means to the community.
Top marks Kieran Tierney.
