'Tis the season to 'eye a swoop', and Manchester United are reportedly doing exactly that for one talented Celtic youngster.
However, despite his electrifying first season at Parkhead, it's not Moussa Dembele.
Instead, with doubts persisting as to Luke Shaw's future under José Mourinho, United are taking a serious look at Scottish left-back Kieran Tierney - this according to The Mirror.
19-year-old Tierney is understood to have been scouted by United in recent months, and impressed during Brendan Rodgers' side's 3-3 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League.
José Mourinho and United are keen on the Hoops prodigy, who is currently valued at £10m by his club as per David McDonnell, but would likely have to wait until summer to secure his signature.
The talented left-back earned two caps for Scotland last year, earning his international debut during a home friendly with Denmark in March. He's currently on the mend following a two-month absence through injury, but The Mirror reports that he has also drawn significant interest from Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea this season.
Born on the Isle of Man, Tierney moved to Scotland aged 10 months. He supported Celtic as a child, and signed for the club at the age of just seven years old.
