Kevin Zefi could be set for a move to the Premier League, according to the most recent reports.
18-year-old Zefi has been plying his trade in Italy for two years, having signed for Inter Milan in the summer of 2021.
The Dubliner has played exclusively for the club's academy teams since landing in Milan, but has impressed during his time there, and remains one of the brightest young prospects in Irish football.
With Zefi now 18, British clubs are no longer barred from signing him (Brexit rules dictate that UK clubs cannot sign Irihs players under 18), and Premier League high flyers Newcastle are reported to be pursuing his signature.

Ireland prospect Kevin Zefi linked with Newcastle
Kevin Zefi's move to Inter Milan was almost a year in the making, from the first reports emerging in the summer of 2020 to the Irishman eventually signing in the summer of '21.
Fresh reports this week suggest that his time with the club could be coming to an end, and that a Premier League move is on the cards.
The Irish Examiner reported on Monday that Newcastle are interested in bringing Zefi to the north east of England to link up with Ireland under-19 teammates Alex Murphy and Reece Byrne.
Zefi joined Inter Milan from Shamrock Rovers on a three-year-deal in 2021, but Newcastle want to end that deal a year early and bring the highly-rated winger to St. James's Park, as they continue to build for the future after returning to the Champions League for next season.
Despite being eligible to line out for Albania, Zefi has been firm in his desire to play for Ireland, and has been capped at U15, U17, and U19 level for the Boys in Green.
And, even though it seems as though his spell in Italy seems set to end soon, Zefi has earned plaudits his decision to move to Milan, and has impressed in his appearances for Inter Milan Primavera.
A Premier League move would be an intriguing opportunity for Kevin Zefi - and a move to one of the highest flyers in the league can only be a positive for the 18-year-old Irish prospect.
