While there is no shortage of young attacking talent coming through the Republic of Ireland youth teams at the minute, Kevin Zefi is right at the top of the list when it comes to the most exciting prospects.
The 18-year old has been on the radar of Irish football fans for a number of seasons now, coming through the ranks at Shamrock Rovers and impressing with their second team as a 15-year old back in 2020.
That attracted the attention of big clubs from both England and further afield. Instead of waiting for his 18th birthday in order to make a move to the UK, the winger took the more unorthodox step of moving to Italy to join Inter Milan.
He has since impressed at the club, starring at both u18 and u21 level and training with the first team on a number of occasions.
However, there have been rumblings in recent times that we was likely to leave the San Siro. We now have a better idea of where he is going to end up.

Kevin Zefi set for intriguing move away from Inter Milan
Calcio Mercato are reporting that Kevin Zefi is set to join Roma from Inter Milan, with it being said that the player has agreed a three-year contract. Inter will not receive a fee for the player, but they will be entitled to a percentage of any potential future transfer fee.
The Irishman has been linked with a number of clubs in recent times. He was said to be close to joining Newcastle United last summer, while a move to Switzerland has also been mooted over the last few weeks. However, it seems that Roma have won the race for his signature.
A three-year professional contract would be quite the show of faith in a player of his experience. It will be hoped that he could be granted first team opportunities in the near future should he make the move.
Kevin Zefi has been capped by Ireland up to U19 level and it will be hoped that this transfer can accelerate his development moving forward.
It will be interesting to see how he gets on in the Italian capital.
