Kevin Foley Leaves Wolves for Copenhagen
Mere minutes after being released by Wolves, where he clocked up over 200 appearances and earned a Champioship medal since 2007, eight-cap Irish International Kevin Foley has joined FC Copenhagen according to the BBC.
The Danish team are currently sitting second in the Danish Superliga table, eight points adrift of leaders Midtjylland after 17 games in the 33 game season. The league is on a winter break with Foley's first game at home to Vestsjælland, who occupy a relegation spot, on Feb 22nd.
The club are perhaps best known here for their appearances in the Champions League, beating Galatasary 3-1 and holding Juventus to a 1-1 draw in last years competition. With second place good for the Europa League qualification places, it's possible there'll be another Irish representative in Europe next year.
