Ireland striker Kevin Doyle will join MLS' top 30 earners in his third season at the Colorado Rapids.
The 33-year-old Wexford man will earn a cool $1m this season for the first time as a Rapids player, with a further $45,000 up for grabs depending on the Rapids' bonus payments.
Doyle has two goals in five games for the Rapids so far this season, and his seven-figure salary almost triples that of Ashley Cole at LA Galaxy ($350,000).
Former Home Farm product Chris McCann, who last year signed for the newly-formed Atlanta United, will earn $568,000 for the season.
New arrival Bastian Schweinsteiger will earn $5.4m, which is $200,000 less than Andrea Pirlo's salary at New York City FC.
Kaka tops the list as MLS' highest earner with a pay cheque worth over $7m, with former Juventus star Sebastien Giovinco and USA international Michael Bradley rounding off the top three.
