Seattle Sounders beat Colorado Rapids 2-1 in the first leg of their MLS playoff game on Tuesday night.
It was Kevin Doyle who gave Colorado the lead - what could turn out to be a crucial away goal - after 13 minutes. Jermaine Jones found Doyle in the box with a little help from a lovely dummy by Shkelzen Gashi. Doyle's shot deflected past Stefan Frei in the Seattle goal.
Colorado's lead would not last long. Six minutes later, Jordan Morris Morris equalised for Seattle. The score would remain at 1-1 until 30 minutes from the end when a Nicolas Lodeiro penalty gave Seattle the lead.
The second leg, with Colorado at home, will be played on Sunday night.
