Manchester City fans and Fantasy Football managers were greatly concerned when Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne writhed in pain towards the end of Wednesday night's Capital Once Cup semi-final second leg against Everton.
De Bruyne went down under a challenge from Ramiro Funes-Mori, with many feeling that the City man had taken a dive including Everton keeper Joel Robles who today issued an apology after it became clear that the Belgian was seriously injured.
The news of the injury even prompted some Irish fans to ponder whether or not De Bruyne would be fit for Euro 2016, but we now know that he will in all likelihood be fit in time as he is facing 10 weeks out due to injury as he revealed with absolute transparency on his twitter account:
Just got back from the specialist. I'll be out for around 10 weeks.

Straight to the point.
Fantasy Football managers, that is your cue to get him out of your team now before his price plummets even further.
It's bad news for City, as De Bruyne had provided five goals and nine assists in 19 Premier League games so far this season in an impressive return to English football, and Manuel Pellegrini will now be hoping to have the Belgian back in time for the title run-in.
