Ireland have had some incredible players down through the years.
It probably wasn't appreciated at the time just how strong the Irish squad was on a few occasions, something the team will be desperate to replicate in the years ahead.
The FAI are currently in the midst of their centenary year, with the occasion set to be marked once again when Belgium visit the Aviva Stadium tomorrow evening. Such an occasion offers the chance to look back at some Ireland stars of years past, something Seamus Coleman was asked to do this afternoon.
Speaking to the media ahead of the meeting with the Belgians, he was asked to name some of the best Irish players he had played alongside, as well as the most influential names from his youth.
I better not mention anyone in the current squad because I will upset somebody before tomorrow's game when I leave them out!
I've had the opportunity to play with some great players with Ireland: Damien Duff, Richard Dunne, Robbie Keane, Shay Given, they were really powerful players for Ireland.
Growing up, for me I would have been looking at Roy Keane, how good he was for Ireland and how he carried them in certain big games. The Holland game, which was memorable when Jason McAteer scored, but Roy Keane's performance in that game was unbelievable.
Obviously you have ones before my time that I can't remember like John Giles, Liam Brady, players like that.

After that, you had the Ronnie Whelans, the Ray Houghtons. They were really brilliant creative players during that period, I thought they were really exceptional.
Three players you'd be fairly certain that he would love to have in his current squad.
