The Irish players and supporters wont be leaving much of an imprint on Brazil this summer but Ireland's managerial duo will be spending a fair chunk of June and July out in Brazil as part of ITV's World Cup coverage.
According to a report in the Irish Examiner, the pair are set to earn more than €150,000 to offer their opinions on this year's World Cup. The pair already receive a decent wedge of cash for their work with Ireland, with O'Neill earning €1.3 million a year, with Keane estimated to be on between €500,000 and €700,000.
We're not sure whereabouts in Brazil the duo will be holed up, but the one of the most entertaining spectacles of the World Cup is seeing the BBC and ITV attempting to outdo each other by introducing their analysis in the most exotic locations possible while RTE continue to defiantly broadcast their coverage in front of a blue screen in Montrose.
