Roy Keane was holding court with a press conference this morning following Ireland's rather limp performance in Glasgow against Scotland in Friday night. Keane refused to discuss last week's incident which saw the Gardai called to the team's hotel in Portmarnock and Martin O'Neill release a video statement on the eve of the qualifier against the Scots.
Robbie Keane's brutally honest assertion about his ability to play upfront on his own that "I'm not fucking Niall Quinn" was put to Roy who responded:
Roy asked about Robbie saying he’s not a Niall Quinn type player. “He’s a lot better than Niall Quinn," he responds.

Keane was also asked about what it's like for him going out and about in Ireland:
keane on being out & about in dublin: "malahide for a coffee, it's fine. went out last night for a meal, it was fine. i'm not one direction"
