Katie McCabe can do no wrong at the moment.
Having signed a new contract at Arsenal towards the end of last season, she has really taken her game to the next level since the start of the current campaign.
Heading into this afternoon's game against Everton, she had already registered two goals and two assists in four league games, with Arsenal taking the three points on each occasion.
It didn't take her long to pick things up where she left off. The Ireland captain was score an absolute stunner just after the half hour mark, producing a beautiful touch before looping a brilliant volley over Alexandra Elena MacIver in the Everton goal.
What a goal! 😍

Goals from Lotte Wubben-Moy and Frida Maanum later in the contest would wrap up the win for the home side, who also opened up a three-point lead at the top of the table after Spurs lost to Brighton.
McCabe would be named as player of the match for her efforts, giving a brilliant interview to Sky Sports after the final whistle.
🗣 "Frida and I were the worst two in training yesterday for shooting and then we pull up with the goods today!"

You can tell by my reaction when it goes in that I'm not very prepared. Me and the girls have been having a laugh and joke about that, but it's always nice to contribute in games.
I'm just happy to pick up the three points in each game that I score in...
I'll take it anyway, if it went in off my shin I'd still take it! I've been playing a bit higher up this season with Steph [Catley] coming in at left back, but I've played at left back today.
I don't really mind. I'm just enjoying my football at the minute...
I'll tell you something, yesterday we (McCabe and Frida Maanum) were probably the worst in training for the shooting, then we come up with the goods today. I'm just happy to contribute to the win today.
As alluded to above, this is far from the only cracker that McCabe has scored in recent weeks.
Her chip against Aston Villa last weekend was absolutely phenomenal.

The 26-year old is also hitting peak form at the ideal time from an Irish perspective, with Vera Pauw's side set to take on Sweden and Finland as they open their Euro qualifying campaign later this month.
