Liverpool may have thought their luck had gotten as bad as possibly could when Mohamed Salah was forced off in the first-half. Yet, they hadn't factored in Loris Karius.
Having demonstrated something of a rejuvenation in the second half of this season, the German 'keeper was responsible for one of the worst goalkeeping errors you will ever see.
In an attempt to throw the ball out to his defender, Karius' pass connected with Karim Benzema; the Frenchman's touch leading the ball into the net, and granting Real Madrid a 1-0 lead in the Champions League final.
You can watch it below.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Who was he trying to blame? Unless Karius goes up the other end now and scores two he’ll be forever remembered for that incredible assist.— Tom McDermott (@MrTomMcDermott) May 26, 2018
Feel for Karius but it’s not a foul.

Amazingly, Real Madrid allowed Liverpool back into the game almost immediately; Sadio Mane putting his body on the line for a well-worked equaliser.
