Real Madrid and France striker Karim Benzema has posted a series of Instagram stories suggesting he's not at all happy with finishing third in the FIFA The Best Award results this week.

On Monday night, Messi was elected best male footballer at FIFA The Best Awards in Paris.

FIFA released the results on their website and Benzema wasn't even second, he came third behind Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Messi received 52 points, Mbappe 44 and Benzema 34.

Many surprise votes were revealed in the FIFA voting breakdown. David Alaba voted for Messi instead of teammate Benzema, French coach Didier Deschamps choose Benzema instead of Mbappe as first choice.

Karim Benzema's reaction to the result

The Real Madrid player was not impressed by the results. He has once again taken to social media to show his frustration after he came third.

On Tuesday night, Karim Benzema posted a photo from a fan account in his Instagram story that showed all the rewards he won throughout last year.
