Why can't more footballers do this?
Rather than refuse to comment on the rumours that have had Arsenal fans scrambling for information on twitter, that Rafa Benitez's desire to play Ronaldo through the middle would mean French striker Karim Benzema would be free to join his good friend Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, the former Lyon hitman has come out and laughed at those claims.
He even went as far as to say that those who are spreading the rumours about him leaving Real are "clowns".

The fact that the tweet is in English, not Spanish or his native French, would suggest that Benzema wanted nothing to be lost in translation for the intended audience, the British press.
We'd love to see more footballers call out the bullshit rumours about them, it would do everyone the World of good.
