Spurs are currently strolling past an oddly lifeless Everton at White Hart Lane, with two goals from Harry Kane putting Spurs in cruise control, firmly disabusing Everton of any lingering notions of their breaking into the top six.
Kane's long-range effort early in the first-half set Spurs on their merry way, but it was the indulgence of the celebration which caused the most online chatter. Kane and Dele Alli executed a ludicrously intricate handshake celebration. Here it is, in frame-by-frame form.
Kane Alli Handshake
They slapped palms in midair for a bit...
Alli then touched Kane's elbow...
...before both high-fived in one, fluid motion
There was another spot of handholding...
...before they broke away for some more choreography
There were plenty of viewers pondering what Graeme Souness made of such practiced frivolity in the Sky studio, before something glorious happened. Presumably under duress from Jamie Redknapp, he and Souness tried to recreate it. Souness didn't quite look like he hated every second of it...just the majority of it. The two lads didn't do a great job of it, either, and the whole thing descended into the painfully self-aware flailing of limbs.

Is this not an instant sackable offence for Redknapp and Souness, @SkySports? ?? pic.twitter.com/p8ZUnpTFQS

A1 for effort, mind.
