Juventus Could Lose Future Star Because They Won't Buy His Father Tractors

About a month ago, Liam Brady revealed an unusual bargaining tool Manchester United had used when they made an approach for him back in 1973 - a washing machine. The club offered the machine specifically to his mother as a sign-on deal but Brady resisted their advances and his mother had to carry on washing by hand like the everyone else.

Football has come a long way since then, but random add-ons as bargaining tools are still present in some transfer dealings and signings., as evidenced by weird dispute Juventus are currently caught up in.

Young star Moise Kean (Not Roy Keane's dad or a former Irish rugby player) has played for the club since 2010 (when he was 10 years old) and last year became the first '00s-born player to feature in the Champions League as well as the first in any of the 'big 4' European domestic leagues.

But now the Italy underage international's promising future might potentially be away from Juventus who risk losing him on a free transfer unless they send some tractors to the Ivory Coast.

According to Kean's Ivorian father Biorou, Juventus offered the tractors as part of the teen's €700,000 per annum contract but they are now u-turning on the agreement saying "there is no budget for them."

Speaking to Italian site Tuttosports Biorou siad:

I've got several hectares of land in the Ivory Coast which I would like to cultivate with rice and corn.

I asked for this agricultural machinery and they told me there wouldn't be any problems, but now things have changed.

Moise is still only 17 years old, and thus he needs a parent's permission before signing any contracts meaning Juventus could risk losing one of their most promising young assets if they don't fork out for the machinery.

On top of this, 'super-agent' Mino Raiola has been acting as his representative which is also being disputed by Biorou who says he never made any agreement to allow him to sign his son.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and City have all been linked with a move for Moise and with the news breaking today there might just be a fleet of Massey Fergusons on their way to West Africa as we write this.
