On a day of intense rivalries, even Real Madrid may look at the hammering they took at the hands of Barcelona and be thankful that they're not in the same position as Feyenoord's goalkeeper Justin Bijlow.
Facing off against Ajax in the Netherlands' De Klassieker match, things didn't start well for Feyenoord.
Down to 10-men after only 6 minutes of play in Amsterdam, Jeremiah St Juste was rightly red-carded for this nasty challenge. After consulting VAR, the referee had no doubts whatsoever.

Although they held it together for a little while thereafter, it only took around quarter of an hour for Feyenoord's afternoon to get even worse.
A fairly innocuous shot from the edge of the box didn't necessarily catch Bijlow unawares - he appeared to have a pretty clear read of it throughout.
However, as it made its way to him, Bijlow went full Massimo Taibi.
What an absolute nightmare!

Incredibly, Justin Bijlow had a chance to redeem himself. Alas, his momentum appeared to rob him of even that.
In the end, a bad afternoon got progressively worse and Ajax won 3-0 in the end.
