One solitary Udinese fan named Arrigo Brovedani made the 600 mile round trip from Udinese to Genoa to see his team play Sampdoria on Monday night.

According to an interview with Brovedani in today.it, he was in Genoa on a business trip and so decided to take in the game too. The stewards want him to sit with the other supporters but he insisted on going into the away end. Luckily, he had also remembered to bring his Udinese flag.

Despite Udinese winning the game 2-0, Sampdoria fans bought Brovedani a drink after the game to compliment him on his passion for his team.

And you thought Wigan had poor away supporters.
