It was a very intense day for all involved in the Manchester United-Liverpool match yesterday. The FA Cup quarter-final will go down as one of the great cup games as an Amad Diallo winner saw the Red Devils win 4-3 and end Liverpool's chances of winning a quadruple in Jurgen Klopp's final season.
It was a topsy-turvy battle at Old Trafford as Liverpool led the game in the late stages of normal time and into the second half of extra-time. However Manchester United were able to claw back again and again in the late stages before Amad Diallo finished off a counter-attack in front of the Stretford End in the 120th minute to the jubilation of the Old Trafford faithful.
There were emotional scenes for all in Manchester as this was arguably Manchester United's best result in what's been a very disappointing season while for Liverpool, this was Klopp's last game in the FA Cup and it ended any chance of Liverpool winning a quadruple after winning the Carabao Cup last month and still in contention in the Premier League and Europa League.
Jurgen Klopp Storms Out Of Interview
Klopp wears his heart on his sleeve and he always shows his emotion whether Liverpool are doing well or not. However, it was that emotion that led to a very tense moment during a post-match interview. Danish Viaplay Sports commentator Niels Christian Frederiksen asked Klopp why his players looked tired towards the end of the match.
Klopps responded by saying that "wasn't a good question" to which the journalist rebutted with saying was it "too many games." Klopp then stormed out of the interview while saying the journalist "wasn't in a great shape" in a very unprofessional scene.
Watch till the end. Klopp is being rude & arrogant while arguing with a reporter on Danish TV who dared to ask him a few tough questions.
They won't show this side of him on any English channel
Massive kudos to the journalist who stood his ground 👏pic.twitter.com/kKlF1HSCBw

To the credit of Frederiksen, he kept his cool and didn't get angry at the situation, only asking Klopp why did the question provoke him. Speaking to Tipsbladet after the incident Frederiksen explained the situation and how Klopp wasn't calling him overweight as many believed he did online.
I interpret it mostly as an expression of his terrible frustration that they lost to Manchester United in the manner it happened, where they were ahead twice and should have sealed the deal,
His dream scenario was to play an FA Cup final at Wembley in his last match in England, and that's been taken from him now. So I can understand he's super frustrated.
Then he got a question he didn't think was appropriate. It's been a theme for them that they've had many injuries and many matches, which he has complained about. Then he got a question about why they didn't have intensity in the game, and then he snapped.
First of all, I'm not overweight, and if I were, he would never ever say that. That's not how Klopp is. It wasn't meant like that at all. He's not at all mean. He meant that I was unable and unfit to ask questions. There was nothing else.
