Last week, ahead of Liverpool's trip to Southampton, Jurgen Klopp decided to get a few things off his chest regarding the media's handling of Wayne Rooney over in England.
Klopp gave an absolute masterclass in common sense, explaining that Rooney is a human being and that going after him for something as trivial as getting drunk in a hotel was ridiculous. And he was spot on.
But he's at it again.
This week as Klopp sat down to talk about the visit of Sunderland this weekend, a question about Steven Gerrard set him off on a tangent about using his name to write stories about Steven Gerrard, and again it was exactly what needed to be said.
He's a top player, but it's not important what I think. It's important what the people think. I have absolutely no influence in this.
Stop using me for stories about Steven Gerrard, you don't need me. If you want to write something about him, write it! He deserved it. But don't use my name because I have no idea about it.
The questions that managers are asked at these press conferences are often baffling. From the other side, these guys are sent there to come away with a story, but what does anybody have to gain by hearing Jurgen Klopp bang on about Steven Gerrard, a player he never worked with?
In hitting back for the second week in a row, Klopp is outlining what will and will not be tolerated at his own press conferences, but until the questions improve in quality it's going to be very entertaining.
