Liverpool were left feeling aggrieved after a very one-sided Merseyside derby finished 1-1 this afternoon.
Having dominated proceedings throughout, a contentious penalty decision went in Everton's favour and ultimately resulted in a share of the spoils.
Although Liverpool will be disappointed that they didn't test Everton's Jordan Pickford more than they ought to have, certain groups of fans were curious as to why Jurgen Klopp decided not to start his most fearsome attacking quartet of Salah, Firmino, Coutinho and Mane.
Lacking their usually clinical prowess in front of goal, Mohamed Salah's first-half opener was eventually cancelled out by a Wayne Rooney penalty. There will be a feeling that Liverpool have no one to blame but themselves.
While Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp was quick to accept responsibility for their inability to see out the game, the decision to award Everton the penalty was slightly higher on his list of grievances.
In little mood to talk, Klopp persevered all the same - for a little while:
Now we can stop the interview because I only want to talk to people that have [at least] a little bit of understanding about football.
In what really amounts to an amazingly frank four-minute interview from the German, it must be seen to be believed.
