Jurgen Klopp hopes to meet Seán Cox this weekend when the Meathman is a guest at Liverpool's Premier League game against Manchester City at Anfield.
It's 18 months since Seán suffered life-changing injuries due to an unprovoked attack before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final against Roma.
"It's great, I hope I can see him, to be honest," Klopp told Sky Sports.
"I'm not sure if it's possible. It's just wonderful.
"It's 18 tough months, for sure - for the family, for himself, for his friends. And now, coming back - he wants to be back and that's really nice.
"I'm sure our supporters will make it a really special occasion for him. If I have the opportunity, whenever around the game, I would really like to see him."
Seán recently moved to a specialist neurological facility in the north of England to take part in a 12-week rehabilitation programme focused on developing his speech and movement.
The game will be the first time he has visited Anfield since the attack.
