Despite a 0-0 draw against Spurs, Jurgen Klopp seemed fairly happy the first performance of his Liverpool side.
Given that they've a pretty long injury list, not to mention the fact that his international contingent only arrived back a few days ago, one would be hardly surprised to hear Klopp was not overly upset with the result.
He told BT Sport:
We need to improve but for today, after three days. I am completely satisfied for the moment, this was a good first step, I can work with this, I can work with the impressions. Let's get on.
Klopp was also happy to see a few 'full throttle moments' during their performance.
"It's a good first step." Klopp admits @LFC need to improve but he's satisified with his first game. #TOTLIV http://t.co/QU5Rk7tfCa
