He's the bookies' favourite - at an increasingly shortening price - and his name is all over the back pages of Monday's papers linked with becoming Brendan Rodgers' successor.
Jurgen Klopp is the man who many Liverpool fans are praying gets the job.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the club will make a move for the former Borussia Dortmund manager in the coming days. They also say that he is 'eager' to hold talks and that the club owners expect to have a new manager in place in time for their next game, which is away to Spurs on October 17th.
Carlo Ancelotti is another name linked with the job. However, reports in the Italian media suggest that the ex-Chelsea boss is not ready to end his sabbatical from management.
