Ahead of a rather romantic EFL Cup quarter-final between Liverpool and Leeds United, Jurgen Klopp has been discussing his opponents, who he could have been forgiven for not knowing much about after spending his life in German football up until last year.
Of course, we are sure that Klopp was aware of who Leeds United are, but if he didn't, then James Milner would have made it his mission to educate his boss fully about his former employers and boyhood club, as he's seemingly doing that anyway.
Jurgen Klopp took to his programme notes to reveal just how persistent James Milner has been in reminding everybody about Leeds United's history.
Leeds are one of the ‘great teams’ of England I believe. Big history, big support.
I know this because James Milner always tells me, again and again and again. Millie has told me all of the great things about this club and this city – even when I do not ask him.
He doesn’t like the fact I support Huddersfield Town in the Championship because my best friend David Wagner is there.
So I am sorry for this Millie – but I hope Huddersfield finish as the top Yorkshire team this season.
And it wasn't just Klopp, as captain Jordan Henderson also mentioned in the programme notes that "Millie" never shuts up when it comes to the Yorkshire club.
As soon as the draw was made the first person I thought of was James Milner, because he never shuts up about his beloved Leeds. He never tires of telling us the main result he looks out for are Leeds and Guiseley.
Klopp also spoke highly of Gary Monk, as can be seen in the segment that Yorkshire Evening Post's chief football writer Phil Hay highlighted on twitter:

It should be a cracking cup-tie, and the type of fixture that Leeds United fans have been crying out for in recent times.
