"Jurgen Klopp rejects West Ham approach as Boleyn chiefs begin search for Sam Allardyce replacement". They're aiming high, aren't they?
According to the Mirror, West Ham have been the first Premier League club to make a a serious move for Jurgen Klopp after the German announced his decision to leave Borussia Dortmund.
However, it seems the London club have been dealt a setback in their search for a new manager with news that Jurgen Klopp has turned them down. Sam Allardyce is still in a job but it seems the powers that be at Upton Park are planning for his departure this summer and it seems they're planning big.
The Borussia Dortmund boss, who is leaving the club in the summer, is being courted by some of the world's top clubs and West Ham thought it best to let their intentions be known soon after his announcement.
Klopp informed the london club, however, that he is waiting for a team that is competing in Europe and turned them down. For Big Sam, it looks like he is still set for the exit at West Ham having seen his side slump to mid table obscurity after a very promising start to the league campaign.
