Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp made a wonderful gesture today by donating €5,000 to the Sean Cox fund. This generosity was soon matched by the Republic of Ireland's Seamus Coleman and David Meyler.
A GoFundMe page was set up with the goal of raising €2million to cover the costs of the Meath man's rehabilitation, which he is currently undergoing in Dun Laoighre. He suffered life-changing brain injuries when he was attacked by Roma fans outside Anfield before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final against the Italian side in April.
Having spent almost three months in a coma, he returned to Ireland to continue his rehabilitation. This comes with sizeable expenses, and these donations from Klopp, Coleman and Meyler will undoubtedly bring welcome publicity to the cause.
One of the latest donations to support Sean Cox is from Jurgen Klopp himself. Do what you can and help Sean and his family.

The Spirit of Shankly will also make further fundraising efforts this weekend, when they carry out bucket collections outside Anfield before Saturday's match with Cardiff City. Around 60 volunteers will be seeking donations from fans starting at around 11.30am, with all money raised going directly to the Sean Cox Fund.
