Jurgen Klopp was very happy with the performance of young Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in Liverpool's 2-0 win over MK Dons on Wednesday night.
The Cork youngster was making his senior debut and kept a clean sheet while pulling off a couple of good saves in the process.

Speaking after the match, Klopp discussed Kelleher's performance with the Liverpool website:
Very good moments, couple of individual performances. [For] 75 minutes we controlled the game, so then it was really tricky. Kelleher, to be honest, these games are there so the boys show how good they are. For a goalie, it's quite difficult in a game like this but then being there having not a lot to do over the whole game and then having these kind of saves, that's absolutely brilliant, so I'm happy about that as well.
Klopp told journalists after the match ""Caoimhin is a wonderful goalkeeper. I am happy he could show that tonight." The reaction from those in the media and Liverpool fans online was also very encouraging:

Some really bright performances across the pitch for #LFC. Harvey Elliott the standout but Jones, Hoever, Kelleher and Brewster all showing flashes as well. Keita return topping it off on another good night for Klopp’s side.

Harvey Elliot having a really promising match once again, Jones has gone up a few levels too.
Hoever and Brewster will be a bit disappointed with their performance, albeit a great goal by Ki-Jana.

Hopefully those in football land across the pond will be hearing his name a lot more in the not too distant future.
