Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised Caoimhín Kelleher for making some crucial saves in his side's League Cup victory over Leicester on Wednesday.
Leciester led 2-0 and 3-1, but Liverpool fought back to level the game at 3-3 in the 96th minute through Takumi Minamino.
The equaliser sent the game to a penalty shootout where Kelleher made saves from Luke Thomas and Ryan Bertrand.
"He's an outstanding goalkeeper, with his feet, the game understanding - all the goalie skills," said Klopp.
"John [Achterberg] and Jack [Robinson] over the years did an incredible job with the boy.
"It is not the first time he was part of these spectacular games, against Arsenal [in the 2019 5-5 League Cup draw] it was similar but this a step forward and he saved our life, he was really helpful tonight."

Asked about how it felt to make the Anfield crowd erupt with noise, Kelleher told the Liverpool club website:
"It’s an exhilaration throughout my whole body!
"I don’t really know what’s happening, but when I made that save and I hear the crowd, it’s an amazing feeling, to be honest.
"I enjoy the moment, it’s a nice moment. There’s not much pressure on you, if you don’t save it [then] it is what it is, but I always relish it and enjoy the chance to try to make a save."
Kelleher praised coaches John Achterberg and Jack Robinson for their help.
"Honestly I put it all down to them because they do so much research and so much analysis into penalties and stuff," said the 23-year-old.
"Honestly, it’s all down to the coaches, John and Jack."
Liverpool will play Arsenal in the semi-finals.
