Jude Bellingham is one of the most sought after young prospects in Europe ahead of the summer transfer window.
Somehow, the English midfielder is still only 19 years old, and has made a huge impression on Europe's biggest clubs over the past few seasons after signing for Borussia Dortmund at just 17 in 2020.
He has since played for England in two major tournaments, scoring for them against Iran at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Bellingham was the subject of huge speculation last summer, with many of Europe's biggest clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool linked with signing the midfielder.
Ultimately, it seems as though he is destined to become a Madridista, with Real Madrid reportedly agreeing personal terms with the Dortmund man ahead of the transfer window.
As with any major European talent these days, there were some expectations that Manchester City would have gone in for Bellingham as well - but sources have now suggested that Bellingham had no interest in joining what he referred to as "plastic clubs" who have used massive money to buy their way to success.
Needless to say, the reports have not gone down well among the Manchester City fanbase.
Jude Bellingham: Reported comments have not gone down well with Manchester City fans
Though they have yet to hash out a transfer fee with Borussia Dortmund, it now seems more than likely that Real Madrid will be Jude Bellingham's destination this summer. Several sources have stated that Bellingham has agreed personal terms with the club, and will move to the Bernabeu ahead of 2023/24.

There were some contentious claims made about the English midfielder, however, on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel.
Patrick Berger of Germany's SPORT1 appeared on Romano's channel and suggested that Bellingham had no interest in joining what he described as "plastic clubs." Berger said:
He doesn't want to go to a kind of "plastic club." He loves to see a passion in the whole city, he played in the past for Birmingham, which is a worker club with a big history of worker fans, a worker city. The same with Borussia Dortmund.
He wants to see that in his future. He wants to have a big relationship with the fans.
With City, I was told it's not the kind of club he wants...his father Mark Bellingham is very critical with Manchester City. I would say it's going to be Real Madrid.
Naturally, when the comments made their way to Manchester City fan accounts, their supporters were not best pleased.

There will of course be those who will point out the huge sums of money at Real Madrid's disposal, but it seems as though Bellingham's issue with Manchester City is more to do with the culture surrounding the club.
Regardless of what was meant by the suggestion, it's safe to say Jude Bellingham won't be expecting a warm response if he comes up against Manchester City in the years to come.
