Manchester United officially unveiled Romelu Lukaku as their newest signing on Monday afternoon, and the big Belgian did not have to wait long to meet his new teammates as Jose Mourinho's squad arrived in LA, where Lukaku had been vacationing, to kick off their pre-season tour.
Lukaku had spent the morning taking pictures in his new jersey and trying not to let Paul Pogba take the piss out of him in their one-on-one interview for MUTV, but before long it was time to get down to work and start training.
The fact that the Man Utd kitmen knew to bring Lukaku's gear to America goes to show how the official announcement was a formality for a transfer that was known to be happening, but once Juan Mata got a peek at the boots brought over for the new kid, he had to share it with his fans on social media.

Further evidence came when Ander Herrera welcomed the new recruit.

Supposedly Lukaku has said before that he is a size 13.5, but they look bigger still in those photos.
He'll need to ensure those giant feet stay grounded, as there will be a weight of expectation on his shoulders at Old Trafford next season.
