One of the more curious additions to punditry at this summer's World Cup was Russian state broadcaster RT's coup of Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho for their World Cup coverage.
In a video released by RT yesterday, Mourinho gave viewers his opinion on who will make it out of the group stages in Russia this summer.
Here are the top two teams Mourinho thinks will progress to the knockout round of the World Cup:
Group A:
Uruguay
Russia
Group B:
Spain
Portugal
Group C:
France
Australia
Group D:
Argentina
Nigeria
Group E:
Brazil
Switzerland
Group F:
Germany
Mexico
Group G:
England
Belgium
Group H:
Senegal
Poland
The Portugese did say that he wishes Nemanja Matic to have a holiday this summer so his decision to pick Switzerland over Serbia may be a slightly biased one. Australia is another surprise pick for the 55-year-old, surely Ireland's conqueror's Denmark will have far too much for the Socceroos.
The former Chelsea manager also picked Russia to escape the group stages, despite being the lowest ranked team in the whole tournament, but perhaps Mourinho is refusing to bite the hand that feeds.
The 21st World Cup gets underway next Thursday on the 14th of June with the opening ceremony inside the Luzhniki Stadium, which will also host the opening game between hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia at 4pm.
